Charles Riha

Charles J. Riha, Sr., 82, of Bartlett, passed away peacefully on June 30 at St. Alexius Hospital in Hoffman Estates. Beloved husband of 61 years of Rita(nee Krause); loving father of Charles Riha, Jr., Richard Riha, Thomas(Rita) Riha, and Julie(Scott) McCarthy; proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; dear brother in law of Clare Kiczula. Charles was a dedicated employee of Burroughs/Unisys for 49 years before retiring on June 30, 2000 and an active member of Wayne Township Seniors for 16 years.Visitation Tuesday, July 5 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd.(at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Wednesday 10:15am to St. Peter Damian Church, Mass 11:00am. Interment Queen of Heaven.
