Charles Pirtle

Charles A. Pirtle, 97, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024. Born November 22, 1926 in Tennessee. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an excellent craftsman and a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator. In retirement he traveled the country in an RV with his wife. He will be missed by his family. Beloved husband of the late Barbara; loving father of Janice (Richard) West and Ralph (Theresa) Pirtle; cherished grandpa of Jason (Amy), Jackie, Jamie (Brian), Chase, Chelsea, McKinzie (Christian), and McKenna; dear great grandpa of Halie, Julie, Ashlie and Josie; kind son of the late Ernest and Emma and fond brother of the late Margaret, Lorie, James and Jerry. Visitation 10:00 am until time of service 12:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West.
