Charles Minnick

Charles L. Minnick, 68, of Bartlett, died Thursday, November 6, 2014. Born February 24, 1946 in Paris, IL. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Charles enjoyed everything history, Native American art, and being with his family. Beloved husband of Asela (nee Reina); loving dad of Kelly (Steve) Chapple, Natasha (Justin) Wellman and Erica Bjornberg; cherished Papa of Crystal, Joey, Amanda, Zelda and Brayden; dear son of Lawrence and Catherine (nee Abernathy) and brother of Andy (Carlene)Minnick and the late John, Doris and Carrie; fond uncle of Drew, Alan and Andrea. Charles was met in heaven by his grandson Michael. Memorial visitation 1:00p.m. until time of service 2:00p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Matthew United Church of Christ, 1420 S. Gables Blvd, Wheaton. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
