Visitation for Charles E. "Skip" Harper of Elgin will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. until time of service 7:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home, 95 South Gilbert Street, South Elgin. Following services, cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory.
Born March 14, 1945 in Chicago, Skip died Sunday, June 5 in Geneva.
He is the beloved husband of Gail (nee Litwick); loving father of John (Shannon), Sherri Harper, Angela (Jason) Zajac and stepchildren Tracey (Robert) Parks; cherished grandfather of Candace, Michael, Kodi, Morgan, Casey and Cooper; dear brother of David (Sheila) and Donald (Kathy); loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law Georgiana (Michael) Siegall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or Lung Cancer Research would be appreciated.
