Charles Hankins

Charles Richard "Rich" Hankins, Sr. of Bartlett, beloved husband of Mary Ann nee Solich. Devoted father of Charles Richard Jr. (Rita). Loving Bacca of Taylor and Madison. Dear brother of Sandra(Frank) Wochlrab and brother in law of Cathy(Barry) Hoffman, Jeanne(Maurice)Kleyer, Ron(Donna) Solich and John (Helga)Solich. Cherished son in law of Mary Solich. He was born and raised in East St. Louis, Il. where he graduated from East Side High School. He then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois in Champaign. He was a past member of Wenstanley Baptist Church. Rich was active with Timothy's Mission in Arlington Heights. He was a former Scout leader and retired from Hewlett-Packard after 24 years of dedicated service. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Friday 9:15 am prayers to St. Peter Damian Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Little Woods Cemetery.
