Charles Franz

Charles "Chuck" Alan Franz, age 60 of Bartlett formerly of Ashtabula, OH and the Cleveland, OH area; beloved husband of Cyndy (nee Knapp); loving father of Scott (Becky), Brian (Lauren) and Marcia (Adam) Tumminaro; cherished grandfather of Kailey, Tatum, Gavin, Tyler, Julia, Lucy, Elliot and Ender; proud uncle of Bruce (Nancy) and Janet (Lee Scheier) Franz; brother of the late Duane (Norma); son of the late Luther and the late Eleanor (nee Maxwell).

Chuck worked at Lechler USA in St. Charles for 17 years. He also was involved in community theatre in the area and through the Bartlett Park District. He was active in their church, Community of Christ Church in Elgin. He was a huge fan of the Beatles. A torn fan of both Chicago and Detroit teams. Most importantly he was a family man; a supportive, caring and wonderful husband and a GREAT dad. His grandchildren always put a smile on his face. He was the type of man who never felt he made an impact on other people's lives but because he was always positive and upbeat people gravitated to him. He will be missed by more people than he could have ever imagined.

Memorial service June 22nd, 4:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church, 1675 E. Chicago St., Elgin Il 60120. In lieu of flowers donations to Alexian Brothers Hospice, 1515 E. Lake St., Hanover Park, Il 60133 in memory of Chuck Franz would be appreciated.
