Charles Culotta

Charles Louis "Chuck" Culotta, 65, of Bartlett for 39 years, died Tuesday September 6, 2011. Born March 12, 1946. He was the son of Louis and Shirley (nee DeTrain). A chaplain for VFW Post 11018 in Bartlett. Chuck was employed by the Department of Human Services, Elgin and was the owner of DJ Express. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was always invested in people but his true passion was caring for his family.
Survivors include the love of his life, wife Cheryl "Sherry" L.(nee McNeal); children Jennifer L. (Shane) Thomison and Jeffrey L.; grandchildren Natalie, Nathan and Mallory; and sister Christi.
He was preceded in death by his daughter baby Gina Marie and his parents. Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2011 from 3:00pm. to 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd(at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Saturday 9:15a.m. going to St. Isidore Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Michael
