Charles Carrier

Charles J. “Chuck” Carrier Jr, 80, of Bartlett, died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Born May 20, 1934 in Chicago. He was the son of Charles Sr and Ruby (nee Burgh). A veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. An instructor of Tool and Die for over 25 years, Chuck enjoyed golfing, bowling and being with his family. He was an avid White Sox fan. Survivors include his wife, of 58 years, Eileen (nee Wynne); children Nancy (Raymond) Spartz, Michael (Janice), David, Lisa (late Kenneth) Lindsey and Maureen (Edward) Pope; grandchildren Matthew (Brittany), Kimberly, Eric, Dane, Branden, Lauren, Amberr, Rachel, Ashley and sister-in-law Patricia Bauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruby and son-in-law Kenneth Lindsey. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral 8:45a.m. Wednesday to St Isidore Church, Mass 9:30a.m. Following mass cremation at Countryside Crematory. Inurnment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery
