Charles Bridges

Charles Herman Bridges, 84, died May 28, 2021. Chuck was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Highland ) for 65 years; he was the loving father of Deborah (Gabriel) Morales, Dorothy Mae Bridges, Douglas (Michelle) Bridges and the late Daniel Bridges; proud grandfather of Michael, Christopher, Danielle, Kristin, Brittnie, Charles and Pamela; dear great grandfather of Trenton, Cheyenne, Nova Fawn, Nikolas, Evander, and Nicolette Mary; cherished brother of Robert Lee, Kenneth Ray, Donald, William, Bonnie Sue, Angie, the late Betty Jo, Barbara Ann and James Thomas. Chuck will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.

Chuck enjoyed building, craftsmanship and painting. He liked to go fishing and help in the garden with flowers. Chuck also had an interest electronics, having made railroad tracks as a hobby. He was always caring, loving, hands on with grandkids

Visitation Friday, May 4, 2021 10:00am until time of service 12Noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Road) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Interment Bluff City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the family to assist with funeral costs would be appreciated.
