Charles Edward Allen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Allen (Levell), a beloved partner, father, brother, and friend. Born on February 16, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, Charles departed this world on June 12, 2026, at the age of 60, surrounded by loved ones and his dog Havoc in Lockport, IL, where he resided.

Charles was a vibrant soul known for his adventurous spirit and magnetic personality. His many passions included motorcycling, traveling to new and exciting places, and sampling the hottest sauces from around the globe. An animal lover, Charles spent countless weekends camping and fishing, enjoying the tranquility of nature. Always one to have a project on hand, he was never happier than when surrounded by his family and his dog Havoc, sharing laughter and creating memories.

He is lovingly remembered by his significant other, Jessica Kreitz, and his treasured children, Danielle (Sinai) Rodriguez and Nicole Allen. His memory lives on through his siblings Kim (Jake) Anklam, Nicci (Joseph) McClearn, Robin Voight, Christina Allen, William (Yvette) Allen, Nicholas Allen, Ruth (Wes) Prine, Marvin Levell Jr., Kenny Levell, and Tommy (Mark) Levell. He leaves behind cherished friendships with lifelong friends Mark Reed and Lloyd Stevens and many others.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Levell, Sr., his mother, Gloria Hetzel, and siblings John Heintzelman and Denise Levell. Charles’s departure leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He will be dearly missed, and most fondly remembered.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a memorial service at 7:00 pm, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd. Roselle, IL.
