Charlene C. Drayson-Holecek, 89, of Elgin, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Born August 7, 1935, in Glenview. Charlene worked in the real estate industry for years. She enjoyed gardening, golfing and spending as much time as possible in West Palm Beach, Florida but her biggest passion was always her family. Beloved wife of the late Frank Holecek; loving mom of Laura (Dean) Marasa, Kim (Tom) Cramer, Kristina (the late Chris) Weber, Sean (Emilia) Helton and Annie Sadowski; cherished grandma of Stephanie, Nicolette, Jessica (Dave), Jennifer (Kevin), Miles, Olivia, Joseph, Van, Tara, Cora and Brandon; dear great grandma of Jackson, Marshall, Griffen and Benette; caring daughter of William and Anne (nee Toole) Boden; kind sister of Alan, Annette and the late Willie, John, Marianne, Patsy, Kathleen and loving aunt to many. Visitation from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd, Bartlett. Prayers Wednesday 9:45am going to St. Peter Damian Church, Mass 10:30am. Following the service cremation is private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, www.rmhc.org , would be appreciated.
