Cecile Cigler

Cecile M. Cigler (nee Riccardo), 75, of Wood Dale, died Sunday, March 21, 2021. Born August 14, 1945 in Chicago. Cecile was very social. She loved going out often and dancing whenever she could and attended as many concerts and theatrical performances as possible. Cecile was known for loving her family, animals and was incredibly kind. She will be missed. Beloved husband of Gerald “Jerry”; loving daughter of the late Charles and Estelle (nee Poznanski) Riccardo; cherished aunt of her nieces and care givers Danielle Mugnaini and Denise Cusimano; dear sister-in-law of Kenneth (Joan) Cigler and Maxine Grinnell and many other family members and close friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the kind people of Amita Health Hospice and to her dear friend Donna who helped them through this difficult time. Visitation Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle from 9:00a.m. until time of prayers 10:15a.m. going to Holy Ghost Church, 11:00a.m. Mass. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Due to the Lenten season, donations to the Glioblastoma Foundation, www.glioblastomafoundation.org, in lieu of flowers is strongly encouraged.
