Cathleen Valerio

Cathleen “Cathy” E. Valerio (nee:Feidt), born July 28, 1950 to John and Thelma Feidt. Cathy worked in health care most of her life. She loved animals and had several dogs and two horses. The last few years she fostered cats for Paws in California, where she lived for many years. She would nurse the cats back to health and fatten them up so they could be returned to Paws for permanent homes. She is survived by her mother Thelma Feidt (nee:Kraft), a sister Susan (Jeff) Vosburg and a brother John "Joey" Feidt; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father John and her nephew Christopher. She will be sorely missed by all those who loved her. Visitation Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Steamwood/Schaumburg. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel cemetery.
