Catherine Pledger

Catherine Joan Pledger (nee Orlos), 73, of Chicago, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. With a degree in criminology from Florida State University, she went on to have a distinguished career of 30+ years as a Special Agent investigating financial crimes with the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to her prominent career and raising three kids, she was an avid lover of animals, interior decorating, sewing, and her sports car. Loving mother of Jeff Pledger, Steve (Valerie) Pledger, and Kelli Pledger; dear sister of Pat (Andy) Mosher and Nancy (the late Al) Michael; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, June 29 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.), Roselle.
