Kosiba, 92, of Bartlett, formerly of Chicago Logan Square will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday 11:15a.m. to Resurrection Church. Interment Assumption.
Born December 27, 1922 in Chicago, Casimer died Saturday January 31, 2015.
Former owner of Logan True Value Hardware Store, he was a longtime member of St. John Berchmans Parish and current member of Resurrection Parish in Wayne. He is an avid photographer and enjoyed travelling with his wife.
Casimer is the beloved husband of 67years of Mary Anne nee Wolinski; loving father of Linda, Nancy (Kevin) Koster, Joyce (William) Koster and Lawrence (Christina); cherished grandfather of Christopher (Maricela), Matthew, Joshua, Scott, Timothy, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Daniel and Amy; dear brother of the late Mary (Paul) Steller, the late Lillian (Edward) Starzyk and the late Harriet (Ted) Zajac; many loving nieces and nephews.
