Carole S. Libbe, 63, of Elgin died May 6, 2021. Carole was the beloved wife of James Libbe for 39 years; loving sister of Heather (Dan) Lutsch and Jim (Susan) Camberis; dear sister-in-law of Robert (Patrice) Libbe, John (the late Tina) Libbe, Catherine Libbe, Susan (Stephen) Smid, Francis (Margaret Daley) Libbe and the late Margaret (Sue Putman) Libbe; proud aunt of Brittney (Stewart) Slipher, Nicholas (fiancée Samantha Murowski) Lutsch, Makena Camberis, Eniko Camberis, the late Justin Libbe, Jeremy (Ashley) Libbe, Zachary Libbe, Christian Libbe, Kevin Lintner, Matthew Lintner, Alexis (Bret) Laughlin, Sean Stryker, Nicholas Stryker, Ethan Smid, Allison Libbe and Ben Libbe;  cherished great aunt of Tanner Libbe, Paxton Libbe and Annie Rose Laughlin.
 
 She was devoted to her family and friends, very outgoing and had an infectious laugh. Carole was a member of the Alpha Z Delta Sorority at Northern Illinois University. She was employed at Allstate for over 18 years and attended National Lewis University in 2000. Carole was a cancer survivor, and enjoyed participating in activities at Living Well Cancer Center in St. Charles. She loved animals, especially dogs and she was a lifelong Cubs fan. Both Carole and Jim served as Kane county election judges together from 2012-2018. Most recently Carole enjoyed attending sewing classes at Linda Z’s Sewing Center.
