Carol Ann Walsh

Carol Ann Walsh (nee Stanko), 76, of Elgin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Carol was an avid crafter who especially enjoyed attending her son's sporting events. She was also a dedicated dog sitter for her dear grand dogs. Beloved mother of Sean (Sarah) Walsh, Patrick (Nora) Walsh, and Erin (Anthony) Hervas; proud grandmother of Alyanna Opolski-Walsh, Joseph Hervas, and the late Caden Walsh; dear sister of Diane (Tony) LaVelle and Richard Stanko; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; devoted friend of countless others. Visitation Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett, where funeral services will also be held on Monday at 11:00am.
