Carol Smiegowski

Carol A. Smiegowski (nee Wolfe), 79, of Roselle, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born January 12, 1935 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Bud and Irene (nee Galus) Wolfe. Carol was an excellent gardener and enjoyed lunch with friends but her true passion was her family. Survivors include children Ken (Nancy), Karen Pfaff, Kitt Scurto, Kraig (Suzanna), Kim Polvika, Kristie Benhart and Korey; grandchildren Stephanie, Lisa (Mike), Stacey (Edward), Ross, Cassandra, Alec, Kayla and Connie; great-grandchildren Taylor, Michael, Liam, Colin, Caryn and Eddie Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene and her parents. Visitation 10:00a.m. until time of service 12 (noon) Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park), Roselle.
