Carol Ostrowski

Carol L. Ostrowski,47, nee Fredin, of Elgin formerly of Streamwood. Loving wife of 20 years to Thomas; adored mother of 8 year old Richard; dear sister of Paula (Lupi) Rayes, Gary (Marcella) and Walter; step sister of Lou, Chris and Vince Bertoncini; cherished daughter of Philip and step mom Jerri and mom Pat Love; aunt of Lupito. Carol was the secretary to the principal at St. Mary Catholic School in Elgin. She loved to knit and crochet. In her younger days she enjoyed roller skating. As a wife and a mother she liked to bake, watch movies, take motorcycle rides, visit family in Wisconsin. Disney World was a magical place to her. She was a 1985 graduate of Streamwood High School. Visitation Saturday January 18th 2:00 pm until time of service 7:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be at the Countryside Crematory following her service. Donations may be made to St. Marys Catholic School or any animal shelter of your choice.
