Carol A. Morrison, nee Nelson, 76, of Elgin; wife of 56 years of George; mom of Christina (Michael) Basich, Lisa Morrison Smith and Mark (Christy) Morrison; grandma of 7; sister of Gene (Sandra) Nelson and daughter of the late Curt and Dorothy Nelson, nee Parisot. Carol was an English teacher for 27 years with school district U-46. Upon retiring, she and George would spend their winter months in Florida. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
