Carol Mikos

Carol A. Mikos (nee Runzel), 70, of Algonquin, formerly of Park Ridge. Beloved wife of the late Gary; loving mother of Jonathan and Heather (Steve) Mikos-Block; proud grandmother of Jonathan; cherished sister of Delores, the late Rex and Ruth.

Carol was born in Chicago. She went to Maine Township H.S. East. Carol was a homemaker and worked in the bakery industry for many years. She enjoyed watching her television programs and listening to her favorite musical artists, like Elvis Presley. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson. She loved to hang out and play games and come see him play hockey.

She was the sweetest person. She would do anything for the ones she loved, even go out of her way to make that special dessert. She will truly be missed.

Visitation Saturday, October 17, 3:00p.m. until time of memorial service 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett.

Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory. Inurnment Monday 10:00a.m. Ridgewood Memorial Park.
