Carol Jean Lans, 67, of Hoffman Estates, IL passed away on July 28, 2024. Carol was born on May 13, 1957 to her parents Wilber and Wilma Peters. She is the beloved wife of 44 years to Michael Lans; loving sister of Gil (Cathy) Peters and sister-in-law of Diane (Melinda) Lans-Kautz; cherished aunt of Jackson and Ella; dear friend to many.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
