Carol M. Berger, 82, of Elgin, IL, passed away on September 8, 2025. Carol was born on May 29, 1943, to Elmer and Jean Fagust, in Chicago, IL.

She spent her time as a devoted mother and homemaker. Carol loved playing games with her family, reading and traveling.

Carol was truly passionate about her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Donald H. Berger, her parents Elmer and Jean Fagust, and brothers Thomas and Robert; loving mother of Jean (Lyle) Alt, Laura Berger, Donna (Trevor) Joike and Donald (Crystal) Berger II; cherished grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 2.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett, IL 60103.
