Carol J. Bardeleben, 74, of Elgin, died peacefully Sunday July 22, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born March 11, 1938 in Chicago, Carol enjoyed the many things that life had to offer especially spending time with her family. She was an exceptional mother and the heart of our family. Her kind heart and fun-loving personality made her a friend to many. She will truly be missed.
Carol's favorite things were gardening, playing cards, visiting casinos, watching romantic movies and decorating.
Beloved wife of 55 years to William; loving mother to Darlene, deceased, Janeen (Michael) McGreal, William (Heather), Kristyne (William) Greco; Cherished grandmother to Molly, Michael, Jack and Ashleigh; Dear sister to Phyllis Wardean and daughter to the late Jack and Estelle Doyle.
Visitation Thursday July 26, 2012 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Visitation will continue Friday from 9:30a.m. until time of Mass 10:00a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 215 Thomas More Drive (at Highland Ave.) Elgin. Luncheon to follow. Private interment services to be scheduled.
