Carmen Luna Romero daughter of Jesus Luna Govea (d) and Juana Hernandez Mena (d) born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Sister to Jesus Luna and Eva Luna (d). Loving wife to Leonel Romero for 56 years. Loving mother to Angela Romero-Rose wife to Steven Rose grandchildren Erin and Matthew. Leonel Romero Jr & Beth grandchildren Alexis, Jacob & Abby. Edward Romero & Kristina grandchildren Karley & Julia. Diana Bockelmann wife to Eric Bockelmann grandchildren Samantha and Ryan.

Carmen was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She met her husband in Mexico City where she worked as a nurse. They were married and started their family. Leonel came to the United States in search of an opportunity to provide a better life for his family. Shortly Carmen joined him with Angela and Leo where they lived in Addison, IL. Eddy and Diana came shortly after and completed their family. They raised their children to adulthood in Lombard prior to moving to their home in Bartlett, IL where she loved cooking, gardening, gatherings, and playing with her grandchildren. Everyone who stopped by to visit was always welcomed regardless of the time. They would feel her warmth and leave having enjoyed a warm and delicious meal.

Memorial visitation Monday, January 24th, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
