Visitation for Carmella Abruzino nee Strozza of Bloomingdale for 20 yrs., formerly of the Chicagoland area, will be held Monday, January 9, 2017, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.(1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to St. Isidore Church. Mass 10:45 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven.
Born July 12, 1923 in Brooklyn , New York, she died Friday January 6, 2017.
Carmella is the beloved wife of the late Frank; loving mother of Judith (the late Ronald ) Monaco , Janice (Fred) Giraldi ; Cherished grandmother of Ronald (Marlena), John, Mark (Tricia), and Robert Monaco; Proud great grandmother of Daniel, Michael, Jacqueline, Paul, Madeline and Chloe; dear sister of the late Mary Melone, Antoinette Spiezio and Nicholas Strozza.
