Carlos Rivera, Sr.,71, of West Chicago, Beloved husband of the late Norma Iris (nee:Colon); loving father of Naomi Deleon, Maritza (Jared) Hiltscher and Carlos Jr.; dear grandfather of Bobby Garcia, Giovanni Deleon, Jonah Deleon, Jacob Hiltscher and Mila Hiltscher; he is survived by 9 siblings and was preceded in death by 4 siblings; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Carlos was a true patriarch of his family as well as an avid Cubs fan. He is loved and will be greatly missed by many.
Visitation Thursday June 8, 2017 from 3:00pm until time of service 7:00pm at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at The Countryside Crematory. Info (630)289-7575 or www.countrysidefuneralhomes.com
