Camille E. Gailes, 85, was born in the city of Chicago on June 23, 1939 to the parents of Hattie Gailes (Rice) and William H. Gailes. Camille found joy in collecting and restoring old photographs, ensuring that history and family legacies were never forgotten. Her passion for scrapbooking turned cherished gifts, photos, and momentous into keepsakes that will be treasured for generations.
A devoted reader, Camille found solace in the pages of a good book. She also had a deep love for the music of Chicago, finding comfort and joy in its timeless melodies.
Camille’s warmth, creativity, and appreciation for life’s little moments will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The memories she so lovingly preserved will continue to tell her story.
