Payne, Jr. of Bloomingdale; beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Templin); loving father of John (Mary), Nancy Ruff, Richard, Betty (Carl) Weise and Thomas (Lana); cherished grandfather of Candace, Christopher, Caroline, Timothy, Ted, Bethany and Kristina; proud great grandfather of Cameron; dear brother of Sidney.
Cabell was a WWII Veteran, 1st SGT. EF-7, US Army – Retired 1966.
Visitation Sunday, November 2nd 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Graveside services Monday 10:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Roselle Veterans Memorial, RALCF 344 E.
