Bryan Lagerholm, of West Chicago, passed away on Sunday, April 13th, 2025, with his family by his side, he was 51 years young.
Bryan is survived by his heart and souls, his three children, Alyssa, Drew, and Lilly. His parents, Dale (Diane) Lagerholm, Sharon (Rob) Robinson, his girlfriend Angela Alvarez, his siblings Amy Lagerholm and Jeff Lagerholm, his niece Olivia Lagerholm, his nephew Asher Sepin, along with loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bryan was always so much fun to be around, he really knew how to put a smile on someone's face. He constantly cracked jokes...though many of them, only he laughed at. Bryan hid money in his sock drawer and he actually believed it was a good hiding place. He loved fishing and boating on the Fox River and let everyone know what his catch of the day was. Bryan spent hours in the garage fixing cars or dirt bikes or ATVs or snowmobiles and enjoyed riding them even more! He liked to grill and according to Lilly, he made a "mean salmon". Bryan loved his dog Basil and his cat Jiffy, loved watching the Chicago Blackhawks and loved listening to Tracy Chapman. But most importantly, Bryan loved his children, which is when the kind, gentle, and big hearted side of him showed. He ended each and every conversation they had, whether it was 5 minutes or 25 minutes, with "I love you" and he meant it every time.
Bryan's passing has left a hole in many hearts. While reading this, if you laughed or you smiled at some point, then you knew Bryan, and you loved him too. So continue telling his stories, reminisce, keep his memory alive and never forget the wonderful man Bryan Lagerholm was.
