Bruce grew up in Chicago and attended Notre Dame High School. His love for electronics lead him to Triton College and he later graduated from Dvry Tech. He started his career at Bally-Midway in Elk Grove Village, IL as an electronic technician working on prototypes and the manufacturing of electronic arcade and casino games where he rose to be the manager of the department. Bally-Midway was later bought by Sigmatron where he was promoted to be the liaison for all major accounts and manager of the customer service department. His home always included a handful of prototype games that family and friends enjoyed while visiting and at parties.

In recent years Bruce was a Real Estate Broker at Century 21 in West Chicago, IL where he specialized in relocation clients and then at Royal Service Realty in Lombard, IL focusing on the Western suburbs as a buyers agent.

Bruce had a passion and inherent talent for golf that he started at age 15. He joined several golf leagues, collected many trophey’s and played in a number of Junior Achievement pro-am golf tournaments with Lee Travino (his golf hero was Arnold Palmer which never got to meet). He enjoyed traveling with his golf buddies (family and friends) to courses throughout the east coast and midwest (Hilton Head, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Indiana, North and South Carolina, and of course Illinois) as well as organizing tournaments to make the golf interesting. For most of his life Bruce maintained a single digit handicap. In 1992 he achieved an official “hole in one” certificate acknowledged by the American Golf Association.

Bruce loved to entertain especially at Christmas; he would plan neighborhood and family parties and outings from the 4th of July to Christmas parties. His love of electronics came alive especially at Christmas decorating both the outside and inside of the house to the extreme with lights, moving characters, and music. He could recite how many lights he used and how it all worked.

He loved music, mostly rock n roll, the Doors were his favorite group. Bruce along with a number of his friends have collected over 10,000 songs (oldies) on their ipods. He enjoyed setting up special play lists for different occasions and presenting loved ones personalized Cds as gifts.

Bruce loved to spoil the nieces and nephews through birthday and holiday gifts that were unique, cutting edge, or just plain fun (nothing practical was allowed) which was his way of fostering creativity in their developing minds.
