Bruce Jenssen

Visitation for Bruce G. Jenssen of Schaumburg for 55 years will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 11:00a.m. until time of service 1:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Entombment Memory Gardens.

Born February 7, 1930 in Chicago, Bruce died Thursday, December 8, 2016.

A 1948 graduate of Lane Tech, Bruce enjoyed his grade school years at Henry School. He was a member of Plumber's Union Local 130 and worked as Plumbing Inspector for Village of Bartlett in the 1990's until 2007. He was a great athlete - enjoyed playing 16" softball, speed skating, garage saling and wrestling.

Bruce is the beloved husband of 62 years of Phyllis nee Haak; loving father of Robert, J. Lawrence and Thomas Dale; cherished grandfather of Neil; proud great grandfather of Elizabeth.
