Brigitte Smith (nee Heimann), 89, of Schaumburg, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024. An avid birdwatcher, Brigitte was known for her kindhearted and caring ways, always putting her family first. She was known for being very organized and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Michael (Renate) and Mark (Leslie); proud grandmother of Dane (Rachel) Smith, Shayna Smith, Garrett Smith, Mason Smith, Ryan (Melissa) Domingue, and Randy (Kelsey) Domingue; dear great grandmother of Miranda, Ella, Logan, Landon, Scarlett, Aria, and June; fond sister of Renate Ellsworth. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory. Memorial visitation Sunday, November 3 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd.
