Bridie Willis

Bridie J. Willis nee Fahy, age 80, native of Abbeyknockmoy, Tuam, County Galway, Ireland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at home, surrounded by family. Wife of Michael F. Willis, deceased native of Ballinrobe, County Mayo, Ireland. Devoted Irish mother of Bridget Willis, Marie (Arne) Olsen, Patsy Willis-Kibort (Scott) and Michael (Katie) Willis. Cherished grandmother of Sean, Frankie, Christopher, Michael, John, Joey and Candi. Dearest sister of Teresa (Johnny, deceased) Lynch and Patty (Christy) Keefe. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews; proud great grandmother of many and loyal friend of the girls in Hanover Township. Preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Julia Fahy nee Fury, her brother Johnny Fahy and her sister, Mary Reid nee Fahy. Bridie came to Chicago in 1958, married and raised her family. She loved Irish music, culture and customs. Her smile and quick wit will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation Wednesday January 30, 2013 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Rd. (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Rd.) Roselle. Funeral Thursday 9:45a.m. to St. Ansgar Church. Mass 10:30a.m. Interment St. Joseph.
