Keith Cunningham was born in 1959 in Ft Worth, Texas and moved to Illinois when he was 3 years old and adored by his Aunt Marge, Uncle Bob and Cousin Cherie.
Keith was always kind and considerate towards others. He loved to play tennis and was on Schaumburg High School's tennis team. He was a scuba diver. He studied Physics in college and has an associate's degree from Harper College in Palatine. He continued studying at University of Illinois Chicago and lived in Marina Towers with his sister who attended Catherdral High School and studied ballet. He loved music and played the guitar.
He worked with I.T. beginning in the early 1980's. He worked with the early Personal Computers and internet as they evolved.
At a very early age he took toys apart and reassembled them. When he rode dirt bikes he took them apart and reassembled them himself. He was always fixing things. Later on his pride and joy became a chocolate brown Corvette.
His first job in high school was at J C Penney's where a girl named Chris wanted to meet him so she T.P'd his car. She later bacame his wife.
He was certified for Heating and Air Conditioning and accomplished as an electrician. He stepped in to help his employer with emergencies. he was skilled at mechanical and electrical repair for F and F Realty where he remained for forty years.
At F and F Realty he was on call to help different locations troubleshoot their computer problems, set up surveillance cameras, fire alarms and internet.
In the early 1990's while on the job he was severely burned by hot water and steam from a broken hot water pipe. treatment involved skin Grafting. During his very painful recovery and treatment he still used humor.
The highlights of his life were the births of his four children. His face literally glowed when he announced their births. He was very involved in their elementary schooling. Recently we read a letter from a teacher that he was always available and there for them. He started them off for school with a breakfast that was fit for a lumberjack, we joked.
He created a park like backyard with swings, trampoline, sandbox, rocking horse and all kinds of games. His two nieces could not wait to visit Uncle Keith's house. He was a homebody who loved bar-b-queing, listening to music, watching a movie and having his family with him.
We do not know how we will get along without him, but we will always hold him in our hearts. We as well as many friends will never forget him.
