Brian Christiansen

Brian Christiansen, of Streamwood and formerly of Itasca; husband of Carol, nee Lemke, dad of Roxanne Christiansen and brother of Chuck (Connie). Big Brian grew up in Itasca and attended Lake Park High School. In his younger years he worked with his father at the family Glass block business in Bensenville. He went on to become a Teamster Local #673 truck driver, retiring from Martam Construction at the age of 66. His favorite place to travel, for the past 34 years, was Daytona Beach, for Bike Week, with his wife Carol. They also enjoyed taking cruises together. Big Brian was one of the original members of the BROTHER MC and has attended their functions for over 50 years. He was also a past member of the Moose and Odd Fellow Lodges. Visitation Sunday, March 13th, 3:00 pm until time of stories around 7:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood, Il.. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory following his funeral. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
