Chicago

Bo Lueders, 38, a devout Chicago native, grew up and made lifelong roots in the town of Roselle, IL where he attended Spring Wood Middle School and eventually graduated Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL.

A talented and accomplished guitarist, Bo was also well-known as one of the founding members of the Chicago based Hardcore band Harms Way in 2006. Over the years, Bo also became a founding member of other successful bands known as Double Crossed, Few and the Proud, Convicted, and Wolfnote. It was through his many creative endeavors that he shared a special brotherhood where he was quickly recognized as a loyal, supportive friend and bandmate, while touching the lives of millions of music fans around the world.

Known as a people person, Bo co-hosted the celebrated and immensely popular Hardlore podcast, where he became known for his deep knowledge of an array of subjects - All of which allowed him to relate to hundreds of thousands of friends and viewers each and every week. Over the last 4 incredibly successful years, Bo became a marquee voice for the entire genre of music and accompanying community that he grew up in.

Bo was a true treasure, revered for his kindness and dedication to his family, his friends, and his artistic/entrepreneurial pursuits. In his private life, Bo was a supernatural skeptic, an avid foodie, and coffee connoisseur who also enjoyed supportively sitting ringside at wrestling events and gambling at casinos. He was a strong, yet gentle soul who cared passionately about his music and the people in his life. If anyone needed a compassionate shoulder for creative ideas, or even suggestions to overcome personal issues, Bo listened without judgement; only interested in providing comfort in his responses.

Beloved son of Wendy M. Bohan and Daniel A. (Holly) Lueders; dear brother of Jack; devoted partner of his love Taylor; cherished grandson of Robert (Marcia) Lueders and the late Margaret Lueders; loving nephew and cousin to many; proud master of his two black cats, Metallicat Pumpkin (aka Cronky) and Giant Squid (aka Squiddy) Lueders. His passing left an enormous hole in the world that will be impossible to fill.
