Blanche Mary Rose, nee Hronek, known most of her life as Ronnie, passed from this world on October 27, 2013. Ronnie was born in Chicago on August 23, 1923 to Blanche and Martin Hronek and always considered 23 to be her lucky number. Ronnie was a National Honors Society member and honors graduate of Lindblom High School in Chicago. She briefly worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. where she met her husband, William F. Rose, the love of her life. Ronnie & Bill were wed on June 21, 1947 in Chicago and spent the next 38 years adoring each other.
Ronnie is preceded in death by her soul mate, Bill, and the brother she adored, Johnny Hronek.
Ronnie leaves behind two devoted daughters, Susan (Josef) Ulber and Christine (Jon Loudin) Rios, six grandchildren (Stacy, Tina, William, Jennifer, David, and Christopher) , nine great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild.
Ronnie will be remembered fondly by her family as a funny, spunky, and flirtatious chocoholic.
