Billy Nicewonder

Billy R. Nicewonder, 75, of Carol Stream. Cherished husband of Wanda for 50 wonderful years; loving dad of Samantha (Danny) DeLoera; dear son of the late Curtis and Margaret Nicewonder; caring brother to Tim (Gayle) Nicewonder; dear brother-in-law to Cindi (Dave) Gaughan and Danny (Diana) Nicewander; favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews; and special friend to all. Billy was born in Bluefield, West Virginia with a twinkle in his eye and an irresistible grin. At an early age, Billy loved and excelled at sports. In 1971, he was rated the number one Archer in the nation. As an avid bowler, he bowled multiple 300 games. Billy worked as a Union Glazier for 35 years before retiring in 2006. In his retirement, he took up golf and like a true athlete, he hit a hole in one. Billy was a kind and generous man, who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation Wednesday August 31, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of service 12:00 noon at The Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., Bartlett.
