Visitation for Billie Jay Summers of South Elgin for 45 years will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 4:00p.m. until time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Rd. (at State St.) South Elgin. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born October 5, 1928 in Thompsonville, Billie died Monday, December 19, 2016.
He is the beloved husband of the late Pansy nee Hall; loving father of Michael (Ruth) and the late Jackson; cherished grandfather of Jim (Jackie), Nathan (Jessica), Aimee (Matthew) Brunner and Chet Morris; proud great grandfather of several: great great grandfather; dear brother of Elvis (the late Nyla Mae); many loving nieces and nephews.
