Bill Douglas Grant

William "Bill" Douglas Grant, 91, of Bloomingdale died November 20, 2021. Bill was the beloved husband of the late Charlene Marie Grant; loving father of Sherry (Lloyd) Moist and Craig (Josephine Szarowicz) Grant; proud grandfather of Sara Moist, Carly Grant and Cody Grant; cherished brother of the late Edwina (Bill) Daniels.

Bill was an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed building model boats, camping, flying gliders and traveling. He was a passionate Chicago Bulls and Bears fan, and loved to watch golf tournaments. Playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends was his passion.

A celebration of life will be held for Bill on Saturday December 11, 2:00pm until time of service 5:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 333 S. Roselle Road (1/2 mile south of Irving Park Road) Roselle. Cremation was private at Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to First Tee https://firsttee.org/donate/ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
