Beverly Janice McCarthy(nee Mitchell), 89, originally from Chicago passed away June 26. Beverly enjoyed life with a great sense of humor and loved bingo, gambling, line dancing, and crocheting. Beloved wife of the late Robert; dear mom of Kathleen(John) Spahn, Patrick, Joseph(Patti), and the late Timothy and the late John(Linda); loving grandma of Brian(fiancée Dawn) Spahn, Allison(Adam) Streeter, Caroline(Chad) Merritt, Kathleen McCarthy, Marion Elizabeth(Richard) Heywood, Timothy, Shannon, and Alyssa McCarthy; loving great grandmother of Seth, Christian, Ian, Evelyn, and Bobby; fond sister of the late Donald(Evelyn) and the late Elaine(the late Thomas) McMahon. Visitation Friday July 3 in the Parish Center at St. John of the Cross Church 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs, IL 60558 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Mass 11:15am. Interment Queen of Heaven.
