Visitation for Betty J. Skornia nee Daffan of Friendship Village Schaumburg, formerly of Norridge will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 3:00p.m. until time of service 7:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
Betty was the sole caregiver of her husband Joe for many years until his death. In later years, she enjoyed the company of many friends, including her companion Joe Ungari.
She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Chris (Steve) Leisering and the late Betty Jo Skornia; cherished grandmother of Rachel (fiance Marc Rodkey) Donahue, Brian (Natalie) Leisering, Ashley Leisering and Michael (Melissa Holmes) Leisering; proud great grandmother of Nessa; dear sister of the late La Verne Bianco; fond aunt of Ron (Kathy) Bianco, Alan Bianco and many loving nieces and nephews.
