Betty Sandnes (nee Miller), 89, formerly of Wood Dale, died Wednesday, April 06, 2016. Born November 19, 1926 in Chicago. Betty enjoyed traveling, reading and gardening but her true passion was spending time with her family. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of Cynthia (Joe) Gross; cherished grandma of Alyssa, Kayla and Brianna Gross; dear daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (nee Ohzourk) Miller and sister of Kenneth “Bud” (Dolores) Manicki. Visitation 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. to Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Mass 10:00a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
