Betty Mae Gorton (nee Phillips), 91, of Glendale Heights, died Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Born July 9, 1925 in Davenport, Iowa. Betty enjoyed Reading, word searches, crocheting and being with family. Beloved wife of the late Richard; loving mother of Gerald (Ruthann), Judith, Jenifer (Stan) Fioroni, Jill Tinsley and Janice (Rick) Mullendore; cherished grandma of Jeffrey, Andrew (Madiline), Jean, Emily (Nicholas), Victoria (Eric), Jason (Priscilla), Chad (Kristina), Heidi, Adam and Alex (Lauren); dear great grandma of Clayton, Cordelia, Raymond, William, Sara, Caitlyn, Desiree, Aiden, Wyatt, Olivia, Bobby, Skylar, Shayna, Trevor, Logan, Jacob, Savanah and Cobie; caring daughter of the late Josiah and Emma (nee Meyer) Phillips and sister of the late Marie Edgley, Grace Bristow and Raymond Phillips. Memorial visitation 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle.
