Services for Beth S. Stryker (nee: Altheimer), 46, formerly of Schaumburg for 25 years, will begin with prayers at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg and proceed to St. Mary Church, 400 Fulton St., Elgin for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, at the funeral home.
Born February 23, 1963, in Niles, she died Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin.
Beth’s humor, friendship and support will be greatly missed by all the wonderful lives she touched.
She was the beloved wife of John M. Stryker; loving mother of Sarah M. Stryker; cherished daughter of the late David L. and Helen “Sue” Altheimer; dear sister of Mary A. Altheimer; and fond aunt of David A. Altheimer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen for a Cure appreciated.
