Beth Raffety

Beth Raffety of Bartlett, Illinois died June 27, 2025 in her home. She was born on November 4, 1959 to George and Chardell Raffety in Belvidere, IL.



Beth attended Northern Illinois University, receiving an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and a Masters of Project Management from DeVry University.



She married Emo Moschini on February 25 th , 1984 at First Baptist Church of Belvidere, Illinois. She moved to San Diego, California where Emo was stationed with the Navy. They were divorced September 2003.



Beth spent most of her career working as a Project Manager for three Fortune 500 companies. Her last position was as a Senior Project Manager at AT&T in Hoffman Estates, Illinois where she retired in 2017. While working for AT&T, she received The White House President’s Volunteer Service award in 2014, 2016, and 2017 from the Points of Light Foundation for demonstrating a commitment to volunteer service.



Beth loved traveling and visited many countries on group tours with her church, Willow Creek Community Church. She enjoyed learning, research, and management. She loved spending time talking with friends, going to concerts and shows, or sitting down to a meal and a great conversation. Every conversation included a mention of her beloved black Lab, Jet. She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and her church. Beth was a passionate supporter of the Willow Creek Leadership Summit, volunteering in many ways and opening her home to attendees. She was part of the church’s Singles Ministry, Senior Connect, and the Church of the Rock group.



She is survived by her sister Cynda White. A celebration of life reception will be held at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington on July 31, 2025 in room 100 from 6-6:45 p.m. with a service following in the Chapel from 7 - 8 p.m.



Interment will be at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, Illinois at a future date.



Memorials and donations may be made to Willow Creek Community Church.
