Bernita Joan Schoenwolf (nee Hoogstra), died July 10, 2013. Bernita was the beloved wife of the late Donald Schoenwolf; Loving mother of David (Adrienne), Donald (Brenda), and Ricky (Kim); Proud grandmother of Casandra, Kristi (Jeffrey) Palic, Staci, Eric, Billy, and Rebecca (Lonnie) Wood. Proud great grandmother of Allison Palic, Lyric Pugh, and Atlantis Owen. Cherished sister of Janet (the late Donald) Geer, and Robert Hoogstra.
Bernita was a long time member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carol Stream. She liked playing golf and bowling. She also enjoyed crocheting and making crafts.
Visitation for Bernita Schoenwolf Friday, July 12, 3:00p.m. – 9:00p.m at Countryside Funeral Home 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Saturday, 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Congregation Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 would be appreciated.
