Bernard "Bernie" Marasa, 89, of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Frances "Frankie" (nee Guminski); loving father of Dean (Laura) Marasa, Laura Prester, and Russell (Brenda) Marasa; proud Papa of Stephanie, Toni (Jimmy), Jake, William, Nicolette (Matthew), Dominick (Gracie), Rita (Reed); dear great grandpa of Anthony "AJ" and Dallie; father in law of William Prester; Bernie was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother and was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews as well as a devoted friend to countless people. Visitation Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 S. Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
