Services for Bernard Andrew Wojda of Bartlett originally of Schiller Park, IL will be private.

Bernard age 92, passed peacefully to his eternal life with the lord on January 1, 2021. He is preceded in death by son Jeffrey, grandchildren Matthew and Mark Babka and Eric Wojda, great grandchild Chloe Babka, and sister, Dorothy Bowarchuk. He is the beloved husband of Lois M. Wojda, nee Phillip; loving father of Judith (Glenn) Babka, Gregory (Gretchen) Wojda, Glenn (Carol) Wojda, and the late Jeffrey (Rosanne) Wojda; cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great grandfather of 5.

Bernard enjoyed a life long career as a tool and cutter grinder. He was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Bernard and Lois were married for 71 loving years. They retired to Florida and enjoyed their fun in the sun for 25 years returning to Illinois in 2015 to be near family. Papa will be remembered for his quick wit and dry humor. He was always there for his family. He was our rock and will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
